This week of August 30th to September 5th, is when you'll go on www.blackle.com instead of Google. The reason is, because Blackle uses less colors on it's page then Google, which saves energy. But the down side is, is that Blackle doesnt give pictures. So if your teacher (if school begins for you this week) tells you to go on Google for researching at school, then ofcourse do what he/she say. Also, if you need to find pictures, use Google. Those situations are fine. Remember to keep on doing the things from current Earth weeks to make a difference. Thanks for helping!

Sorry for the delay, but here is this week's Earth Week Themes.  WEDNESDAY -Light Switch Day -This day you must turn off all the lights when you don't need it. If you leave into another room, turn the light's off. THURSDAY - Short Shower Day - When you're taking your shower, make it quick so you don't waste a lot of water. OMG! Thinking back on yesterday, makes me want to holler like a monkey! That quiet girl Emily, burst out in front of the class, and attacked my desk! She has some problems! I was on my bus. My best friend Ricco Degy, is on the bus stop after mine. We live across the street, and were always on the same bus stop, but this year, they changed it! Who do they think they are? Do they even KNOW who I am?! I am Roy Gold, the most popular dude in Fathers' Elementary School! Jeesh! Well, at least the ride is going to get 'un-borified', 'cause Ricco's here, I thought.

Everyone knows what Earth day is. A day where we celebrate our great planet and honor it by doing green activities for it. Some people extend it for a week. But what to do for the other weeks and days of the year? You don't need to wait for next year's April 18th to start Earth Week. KDG has created our own idea. EARTH YEAR! I'll even join you all. The whole idea is, is for everyday we make a theme. I'll update this every week, so you know what to do.

New Castle,Delaware is a town who's government actually cares about the climate change! And they are one of the very few towns that actually have a greenhouse gas reduction plan. That way, they can stop the carbon dioxide taking over the air! Their carbon footprint (the amount of how much carbon dioxide they create) was a lot, with all the houses, buildings, cars, streetlights, water, sewer systems, and the garbage. In fact, in the year 2005, the town produced 3,446 metric tons of carbon dioxide! And the biggest thief of energy, was their water filtration plant, next was their cars.
